Both Julian Adams and his father,
Weston Adams, were raised on these same lands and
have spent much of their lives in South Carolina.
Weston has had a distinguished career as a lawyer,
Brigadier General, and former United States Ambassador.
Being the keeper of the Adams’ history, Weston
had a filmmaker’s drive to tell his family’s
true wartime tale, and worked with Julian Adams to
make it happen. After getting his Masters degree in
architecture, Julian’s work in independent film
rapidly began to expand. Julian partnered with his
father and took the helm as the producer, writer,
and lead actor in the telling of their family’s
wartime story, and shared Weston’s commitment
to bring that story to the screen.
